Job Duration :

The incumbent will be responsible for leading and coordinating annual and ongoing risk assessment to support the development of a risk-based annual audit plan. As appropriate, update the risk assessment and audit plan during the year in response to business or industry/market developments. Identify internal, guest auditor, and co-source resources to accomplish the audit plan

Description :

- Provide strategic and technical leadership for audit activities. Develop, and monitor implementation of appropriate audit guidelines.

- Ensure the issuance of audit reports is done in collaboration with process owners on the facts of the audit findings. Evaluate views of process owner around risk severity & impact and timing of remediation before coming to a conclusion.

- Support the Board and Audit Committee in fulfilment of its oversight responsibilities and suggest risk mitigation initiatives.

- Ensure minimisation of potential risks, security and control guidelines are strictly adhered to and to ensure that effective and adequate checks and balances exist in the workflow and processes of all the departments/units.

- Manage the preparation and publishing of periodic reports and MIS on areas like status of controls and post audit remedial actions, analytics around key control weaknesses and recommendations during the audits conducted.

Profile

- Ideal candidate must be a CA with 12-17 years of post qualification experience.

- He/she should bring an excellent track record of leading audit & risk function with a large asset heavy organization (including industries like manufacturing, infrastructure, telecom, financial services, FMCG etc).

- Experience of working in a Big 4 and a start-up would be advantageous.

- He/she must come with an understanding of core principles of COSO, SOX, Risk Management, etc. Should have an understanding of compliance with regard to Labour Laws, Tax Laws, Companies Act, Commercial Laws, etc.

- Should have extensive experience in conducting Enterprise level risk assessment and developing risk based audit plans.
