Hiring for a leading manufaturing company : Job Description - Develop and execute a strategic, risk-based internal audit plan aligned with the organizations goals and objectives. - Lead the internal audit and compliance function in line with the Internal Audit Charter and professional standards (e.g., ICAI, IIA). - Ensure organization-wide adherence to laws, regulations, policies, procedures, and contractual requirements. - Assess and enhance the efficiency of operations, effectiveness of internal controls, and reliability of financial and management reporting. - Evaluate compliance with acquisition regulations/requirements and other statutory mandates. - Provide leadership and strategic direction for internal audit activities, ensuring alignment with company goals and best practices. - Support the Global Head of Internal Audit in transforming the Internal Audit function as part of a larger strategic agenda. - Collaborate with senior leadership and key stakeholders to promote a strong risk management and compliance culture. - Present audit findings and recommendations to the Audit Committee and senior management. - Drive the development of the audit teams capabilities through mentoring, upskilling, and resource planning. - Monitor and follow up on implementation of audit recommendations and remediation plans
