Head - Internal Audit - International Bank

Our client is leading international bank with an extensive presence in various countries. They are actively seeking Senior Audit professional to head their extended global audit team in India and reporting to APAC Internal Auditor.

Some of the key responsibilities will include:

- Responsible to lead and manage team of Internal Auditors.

- Collaborate and support regional and global Heads of Audits, Chief Auditors and Portfolio Managers to define the appropriate coverage strategy and audit plan for the responsible areas aligned to COO areas under overall purpose of role, taking into consideration the Audit Risk Appetite, the current and expected business environment, the regulatory requirements, and the resourcing levels within the Audit Function.

- Identifying efficiencies and synergies in operational activities to enhance audit coverage and align testing priorities.

To be eligible for this role you will require:

- Qualified degree with 15+ years of experience and at least 10+ years of end-to-end internal audit and people management experience in international bank.

- Extensive financial services product knowledge across relevant business lines (e.g. Consumer or Wholesale businesses).

- Overseas working experience or exposure to UK, European, US or Asia regulators and understanding of relevant regulatory developments and requirements.

- Good understanding of digital customer or technology solutions, and its relevance to operations.
