Head of Internal Audit for Fintech Unicorn

One of India's largest and fastest growing fintech unicorn companies is seeking to hire a senior internal auditor to build and lead the internal audit function. You will be expected to

- Drive internal audit strategy across finance, operations, compliance, system etc

- Control environment:

- Deep dive into the control environment

- Identify gaps

- Develop suitable mechanisms to fill these gaps

- Ensure that senior management has comfort with the overall risk and control environment

- Provide inputs to the investor relations team on internal audit findings on request from institutional investors

- Coordinate with external stakeholders (such as external auditors and regulator) as required

- Build the internal audit team.

Requirements :

- Internal audit experience at a senior level in the financial services industry, in particular a retail/msmse/credit based industry

- Ability to grasp both strategic and operational nuances of senior management's vision

- Understanding of technology and systems in the financial services sector

- Ability to manage stakeholders without in any way compromising integrity of the audit function

- Excellent grasp of finance and accounts
