Required Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of relevant experience in Internal Audit Role.
- 2+ years of experience with Start-up Organizations in Internal Audit Role.
- Internal Audit functions leadership experience of a Startup company
- Comprehensive knowledge of accounting and auditing principles, practices, procedures and tools.
- In-depth understanding of Startup
- Adaptability to new-age technologies
- Analytical bend of mind
- Good communication and influencing skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Determine internal audit scope and developing annual plans
- Conduct Financial, IT and Operational audits
- Identify loopholes and recommend risk aversion measures and cost savings
- Objectively review various business processes
- Evaluate the efficacy of risk management procedures that are currently in place
- Make recommendations to improve internal controls and governance processes
- Prepare and present reports that reflect audit's results and document process
- Act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement
- Maintain open communication with management and audit committee
