Head Internal Audit

A leading specialty chemical manufacturer wishes to hire the Head of Internal Audit for the company.

- The role reports to the CEO for India and would responsible for complete audit and controls of the company's operations in India. The function is managed by one of the BIG Audit firms.

- Provide strategic vision to set and nurture the Corporate Governance in the company by closely working with every function.

- Working with the Internal Auditors in smooth conduct of the internal audit for the company .

Specific KRAs :

- Lying down the SOPs to strengthen Internal Control

- Setting up Risk Control Mechanism

- Assess business risk for the company/functions

- Assessment of Capex audits, functional audits and Third-Party agencies

- Develop a Control Self-Assessment check list and procedure for every function head.

- Regularly update Top Management, Audit Committee and Board on adequacy of Internal Controls and Audit mechanism, key audit findings and action plan, Risk Management and Statutory Compliance Status
