- An opportunity to head the internal audit for a large chemical group

- Looking for Chartered Accountants with 15 - 20 years of overall experience with major experience in internal audit

Client Details

Our client is a listed chemical organization with a turnover of 2500+ Crores and multiple manufacturing facilities. They have multiple subsidiaries globally and are catering to both domestic and international clients

Description

Reporting directly to the Audit Committee and the CFO, you will be responsible to

- Conduct audits to test the controls and identify gaps and weaknesses and enhance the same

- Estimate risk exposure through workshops with various stakeholders

- Assist in the formulation and vetting of company policy and procedures for their relevance, completeness and usage as a reference point of control

- Prepare the audit plan for the year based on insights about existing control weaknesses and requirements on coverage of various business processes

- Function as a facility to build/improve skills and competencies of freshly joined qualified professionals and promote their continuous learning and development

- Manage and train a team of 9+ qualified professionals

Profile

You are a Charted Accountant and have 15 -20 years of post-qualification experience with major experience in Internal Audit. You have a thorough understanding of manufacturing processes and compliances. You have excellent leadership skills and are able to influence key stakeholders. You are a team player and looking for a long term role to sustain and grow with the business.
