The Head Insurance will work as a part of Corporate Finance & Accounts Team and will be responsible for end-to-end process management, ensuring that all the group assets in various categories are adequately insured thus minimizing and mitigating all potential and actual losses. Additionally, the incumbent must ensure that the expenses incurred on premium payout is continually reduced without any adverse impact on aspects related to risk coverage as well as from a quality-of-service perspective from the insurance service providers. - Se up effective processes for end-to-end process management of all existing insurance policies viz timely renewals thus avoiding any penalties, negotiating effectively to reduce the payouts on a year on-year basis, setting up robust channels of communication with the service providers. - Ensure adherence of corporate guidelines in the insurance related processes as per the internal corporate affairs and the SEBI guidelines. - Develop and implement processes for enrolling new assets in the insurance coverage. - Identify proactively the asset types, categories that need to be included in the insurance program. - Create note for inviting quotations for the required coverage. - Ensure that risk evaluation is carried out by taking all factors into consideration such as physical location of the asset -proximity to hazardous activity, presence in a risk prone zone which can potentially adversely impact later. - Shortlist the most optimal proposal and present to CFO's office for validation and approval. - Secure the policies while ensuring that the risk coverage is in line with the originally defined scope and identified risks. - Provide reliable reporting and support to the Group CFO Office as required on need basis. - Partner with the IT team within finance function for developing and implementing the best-in-class IT systems for managing insurance policies and related processes. - Update key stakeholders within the businesses and corporate functions about any changes in the insurance guidelines. - Performs other related duties as required by the head of the department. Position Requirements : - Master's Degree, preferably MBA Finance with good academic record. - 10 to 15 years of relevant professional experience in preferably real estate/infrastructure/construction industry/ Insurance Company. - Ability To plan, organize and prioritize assignments and ability to meet critical deadlines. - Strong internal & external stakeholder management abilities. - Ability to handle & execute multiple projects simultaneously. - Ability to work both independently and in highly collaborative environments. - Experience of working with multiple geographies and dealing with different insurance service providers, brokerage firms and insurance consultants would be preferred. - Relevant experience in dealing with large scale insurance contracts, contract negotiation, understanding of legal and regulatory aspects
