Our client is seeking talented B2C / inside sales professionals to set-up and grow our student acquisition capabilities.
JD for Head - Sales
The Head - Sales is a unique role, responsible for driving student conversion and growth for the online feeder programs targeting Indian students. This will be an exciting opportunity for a keen professional to establish student recruitment capabilities for the company by building a team, processes and assets from ground zero. The person will report directly to the founders.
The Head - Sales will be responsible for the following key areas:
1. Develop the student recruitment and conversion strategy for online feeder programs in conjunction with the founders and the head of marketing (lead generation).
2. Establish the lead-conversion pipeline and underlying sales team / technology operations.
3. Manage the student conversion cycle - from receiving the leads to completing the admissions.
4. Guide the marketing team and digital marketing agencies / partners / resources to align lead generation and lead conversion.
5. Set up alternate recruitment channels through a combination of in-house resources and partnerships.
6. Be responsible for program revenue targets.
Who are we looking for?
1. Qualification: Masters or Bachelors from leading institutions in India (Tier 1 preferred).
2. Experience: 4-7 years of professional experience with current focus on lead conversion.
3. Should have demonstrated leadership and management skill and should have managed a team with revenue / sales targets.
4. Developed and or implemented an effective lead conversion process.
5. Knowledge of digital lead generation and demand generation activities.
6. Experience in the education sector will be preferred though not essential.
