This is regarding a Job Opportunity for a leading Steel Manufacturing organisation in Kolkata as IT Head.

Reporting to GM-Projects

- BE/B.Tech is mandatory with 60% marks throughout.

- Candidates with less notice period or immediate joinees preferred.

Job Description :

1. Strategic visioning and strategic planning for the IT - supporting and facilitating the company's business and its processes; and preparing IT road-map short term and long term.

2. Preparing and aligning IT strategic plan with the company's short term and long term goals

3. Communicating with the business stakeholders at all levels to understand the critical business requirement, and provide effective and workable solutions to support and address business needs in timely manner; and help achieve business plans.

4. Managing SAP CRM / SAP ERP and any other NON SAP systems, Improvements, and Enhancement of the existing applications and modules already running; launching and implementing new modules and utilities

5. Managing IT Infrastructure, and Connectivity, including LAN/WAN, Internet connectivity; video communication systems etc. IT Security Systems and Processes, their Implementation, Audits, Compliances, and Risk Management, to ensure safer and security IT working environment.

6. Digitalization, including website upgrade and maintenance; and managing and introducing web applications to improve processes, enhance users experience and satisfaction (of both internal and external customers), facilitate and improve business.

7. Evaluating, prudently selecting, and introducing new IT technologies. Plan, implement, and ensure rapid Disaster Recovery and business continuity in case of any emergencies.

8. Leading, guiding, coaching, and upgrading teams capabilities.
