Head - Information Technology - Plant Manufacturing

The plant is based out of Odisha and part of multi billion dollar Group with headquarters in Delhi.

Key Result Areas :

- The IT Head will develop and manage the plant IT portfolio in alignment with Corporate IT strategy and direction.

- The IT Head will partner with various business stakeholders and the CIO to drive technology initiatives and continually evaluate new industry trends in IT, technologies and suppliers.

- (S)he will work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions.

- (S)he will plan, coordinate, direct, and design operational activities and provide direction and support for IT solutions that drive business operations.

- Responsibilities also include planning, organising, and supervising staff to ensure stable, reliable and efficient IT operation in alignment with the organisation's business objectives.

- This individual will also oversee and execute the talent, career development and performance management process of the plant IT staff.

Skills & Competencies :

- Past experience in ERP, automation and Infrastructure Management

- Expertise in applications and service delivery, as well as successful service level agreement accomplishments.

- Project management experience leading enterprise systems implementation and digital transformation projects

- Expertise with issue/trend analysis, proactive problem avoidance, root cause analysis, performance and overall quality improvement and cost-savings

- Experience with systems design and development from business requirements analysis through to day-to-day management

- B.Tech/M.Tech having 12-15 years experience in Metal industry and conversant with latest knowledge and expertise preferred.
