IT Head - BFSI Domain - Mutual Funds Projects - Leading AMC Role Description : Role : Head Information Technology Reporting To : Head Operations & Information Technology Job Responsibilities : - Overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them according to established goals - Manage the IT Infrastructure, Information Security and Application Development & support areas for the organization - Devising and establishing IT policies and systems to support the implementation of strategies set by the management - Analyzing the business requirements of all departments to determine their technology needs - Implement technology solutions and provide necessary IT support, within project timeliness which are aligned with the business strategy - Provide technology insights for decisions being taken by the business teams - Identify technology solutions available in the market place and with technical partners to improve efficiencies and provide a robust technical infrastructure - Control budget and report on expenditure - Ensure resource levels are adequate for meeting service commitments with internal users and customers - Monitor and manage vendor`s agreed service level targets - Compliance with License policy - Manage and maintain market knowledge / awareness of business developments Qualification Required : B.E and /or a Post Graduate Degree in Management Experience Required : - 15 + years of relevant experience. - Experience in Mutual Fund Domain is essential. Financial Services mandatory Skills / Competencies Required : - Proven experience of heading IT function or similar role - Excellent organizational and leadership skills - Ability to lead and motivate a team of qualified IT people - Demonstrated project management success and exposure to implementation of complex IT projects - Excellence in setting and achieving stretched targets - Good communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to communicate with Technical Partners - Ability to trouble shoot and find solutions - ROI mindset, to evaluate various IT investment opportunities
