Job Description - World's largest manufacturer of curtain and upholstery fabric is looking to the Head of IT based out of Mumbai with 15+ years of over experience in the Manufacturing Industry. Experience in SAP is mandatory.

Our client is a 20 year old brand and is one of the World's Largest Manufacturer of Curtain and Upholstery Fabric. With exports to over 65 countries they have been growing in double digits with a turnover of over INR 1000 crores and employee base of over 5000.
Description
- Devise and update Information Technology & IT Applications Strategy along with road maps for the business as a function process owner
- Define and roll-out of the IT policies and processes related to IT Infrastructure & Applications and End User Computing Devices, Server Management
- Select and implement suitable technology to streamline all internal operations and help optimize their strategic benefits
- Improve & drive ERP application projects from IT and also facilitate project implementation by proper coordination between users, vendors etc.
- Assess project requirement at the regional/HO teams and give necessary technical guidance to the teams to meet the required deadlines.
- Manage and mentor the team of 20 - 25 professionals to provide best in class support to the business.
Profile
- BTech / MBA (Ideal) with 15+ years of experience in IT within a Manufacturing setup
- Must Have prior Experience in supporting SAP at the HO & Manufacturing Units at different locations
- Experience in SAP implementation, support and rollout, business process design (AS-IS, TO-BE)
- Strong knowledge of SAP Logistics or Finance module is essential
- SAP License management, Audits, Managing software vendors, contracts and managing upgrades
- Project Management, Quality Management, and Budgeting knowledge essential
- SAP Hana & Cloud Computing experience will be an added advantage
- Prior experience in managing a team of 15+ in-house staff is also required.
