Head - Information Technology - FMCG

- We are looking for an experienced Head of IT to oversee all IT (Information Technology) functions for my client.

- You will be in charge of a team of IT managers and manage the company's technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems and policies.

- Our client is India based set up. They are leading in FMCG industry with variety of products and being marketed to more than 50 countries.

Description

- Develop goals and strategies to ensure the IT department runs smoothly and effectively.

- Monitor changes in the technology sector to discover ways the company can improve and develop.

- Supervise the networks and computer systems in the company to ensure optimal performance.

- Create and adapt technological platforms to improve the client experience.

- Overall responsible for devising and updating IT strategy and roadmap at an enterprise level

- Prepare and execute IT budget and ensure the budget guidelines are followed and expenditure is within IT budget

- Create digital roadmap for the organisation and set short, medium- and long-term objectives and time bound actions plans

- Network Infrastructure & Storage Management, Disaster Recovery Management across the portfolio

- Leading the IT ERP and infrastructure planning for upcoming projects

- Lead, manage and train the team across multiple locations across India

Profile

- Proven experience as IT Head or similar role

- Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of IT systems and their specifications

- Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.

- Experience in controlling information technology budget

- Excellent organizational and leadership skills

- Outstanding communication abilities

- Experience in defining the product, process flow and converting business requirements into technical requirements

- Project Management and implementation of customised solutions

- Should have exposure to Systems and Networks including firewalls, anti-intrusion skills

- Experience in handling Third Party vendors

- A strong leader that can provide guidance and mentor-ship to team members

- Internal motivation and a high desire to achieve and excel

- Must possess an entrepreneurial drive and take ownership
