Manage the overall IT function and Service Desk, ensuring delivery of appropriate service, support and information to all users in the University. 2. Effective and efficient implementation of ERP system in university with regular monitoring and simultaneously working on advancements, updates etc. 3. Manage and improve the website of the university 4. Manage the deployment, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade, and support of all IT systems, including; routers, switches, firewalls, servers, PCs, operating systems, hardware, software, and peripherals. 5. Manage the day to day operations of IT systems, ensuring that planning, end-user impact, change management, training, quality management are properly addressed and monitored to ensure that deadlines, budgets and service levels are met, and results delivered. 6. Lead IT department operational and strategic planning, including fostering innovation, planning projects, and organizing and negotiating the allocation of resources. 7. Ensure that IT and information security systems, infrastructure and stored data are secure against internal and external threats and position effective and appropriate measures for risk management and information security. 8. Direct and support implementation of software and hardware upgrades 9. Responsible for maintaining and upkeep of the library system of the university.
