Main Accountabilities :

Strategy & Planning

- Define the Information and Communication Technology policy and framework in line business needs for the APAC region and the strategy of the Global IT team

- Build the IT landscape for India in line with the organization's imperative to move towards digitalization; Create a roadmap and drive execution

- Establish a framework to drive sustainable IT infrastructure across SSCs in the APAC region

- Plan and manage budgets to maximize IT infrastructure; Identify and drive focused strategic projects, PoCs, etc.

- Identify suitable operating models, automation tools etc. depending on incremental Vs. disruptive changes, risk assessment due to buy/partner approaches, etc. along with impact review on the on business

- Define the program execution framework and processes to enable lean-agile development

- Take stock of technology capability index for the team to drive meaningful development initiatives to realize the same

- Develop frameworks for selection and review of vendors to track performance, service level targets, feedback, etc.

- Define a governance framework to ensure that the IT policy is followed across all locations within the APAC region to mitigate any information security risks that may exist

- Continuously analyze and investigate existing and new approaches to optimize the IT infrastructure and drive further digitalization

- Provide functional thought leadership to support executive level decision making to drive organization goals

IT operations :

- Drive initiatives to enable the support teams to reduce turn-around time for issue / query resolution

- Oversee team performance, versus targets and seek linkages to business trends to ensure SLA compliance

- Anticipate escalations and drive changes for continuous services improvements

- Institute sustainable knowledge management processes and systems

- Oversee risk management indicators and guide suitable mitigation and management actions

Stakeholder / Vendor Management :

- Continuously engage with the business to identify new projects and areas to focus on by the IT teams

- Nurture relationships with global teams to ensure all digitalization projects are run through the IT team in India

- Conduct periodic vendor audits to analyze their performance to drive efficiencies

- Drive preventive / corrective actions for issues / escalations relating to IT infrastructure management, application development support and implementation support

People Management :

- Drive the development of Manpower plans for the team to ensure optimal staffing to drive productivity and effective utilization

- Guide team members and provide timely feedback to drive robust performance management

- Invest in the team's development by providing them opportunities like stretch goals/projects, training, coaching, etc.
