Head - Industrial Relations - Manufacturing (5-15 yrs)

Position : IR Head

Reports to : Managing Director

Area of operations - Employees at site: ~1200 permanent employees and ~500 contractors are working on site.

- The HR Head will have full responsibility for managing HR / IR and Admin related activities at the site and report to the Managing Director of the Company.

The activities carried out by the HR Director include the following:

- Administrative, legal and contractual management of personnel employed in accordance with Indian and local laws of Karnataka

- Verification of the correct application of the workplace safety legislation

- Staff budget management in collaboration with plant managers and function managers

- Management of remuneration policies and staff incentive plans in agreement with parent companies

- Management of training and staff development plans

- Industrial relations management

- Management of service delivery contracts (personal area and general service area)

- Management of Payroll

- General admin management including canteen, transport, etc services

- Staff search and selection

- Internal reporting

Candidate requirements:

- At least 5 to 10 years in similar positions

- Degree, preferably obtained in economic, legal and social disciplines

- Excellent knowledge of Indian labor regulations

- Excellent relationship skills, applied in multicultural contexts

- Good knowledge of the Office package

- Manufacturing company origin, preferably from international contexts

- Dynamic person, who experiences change as an opportunity and with enthusiasm, who inspires his work commitment to the values of tenacity, reliability, professionalism and entrepreneurship
