Purpose of the Job

As the Head of Indirect taxation, you will be responsible for all compliance, assessments and litigation that arises from a complex business environment with a high volume of transactions such the one our client operates in. Besides fulfilling legal, statutory and regulatory requirements, you will add key value to the business by examining opportunities for savings and bottom line improvements.

- You will directly/ indirectly mentor a large team of highly qualified taxation professionals and be responsible for their growth, career path and high performance.

Ideal Candidate

- You are a qualified Chartered Accountant with 15 years of post qualification experience.

- You have handled complex, litigative business environments with high transaction volumes (such as FMCG).

- You have been in indirect taxation throughout- primarily in VAT/ GST. Service tax experience is also welcome.

- You are a mature, stable candidate genuinely interested in taking your career to the next level
