A pure-play horizontal marketplace, a network that is B2B centric, one that allows manufacturers and wholesalers to sell their products to retailers. The company provides logistics, payment and technology support. At present, it is focusing on 3-4 categories - clothing, electronics, FMCG and staples.

In the short term they have been founded, this business have scaled peaks unheard of within the Indian tech start-up world. The leadership team is convinced they will reach trading volumes of USD 30-50 billion through their platform. Designation: Head of HR (Start-Up)

Location: Bangalore

Years of Experience: 8-10 years (XLRI, TISS, SCMHRD, IIM)

Job Duties:

- Promotes and implements human resource values by planning and managing human resources programs.

- Develops organization strategies by identifying and researching human resources issues; contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to organization strategic thinking and direction; establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.

- Supports management by providing human resources advice, counsel, and decisions; analysing information and applications.

- Manages human resources operations by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counselling, and disciplining staff; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing staff job contributions; maintaining compensation; determining production, productivity, quality, and customer-service strategies; designing systems; accumulating resources; resolving problems; implementing change.

- Updates job knowledge by participating in conferences and educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations

- Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
