Job Title: Head HR (Process Industry)
Role Overview:
The Head HR will lead the complete Human Resources and Industrial Relations (IR) function for a large process industry, overseeing multi-unit, multi-location, and multi-union environments. This role requires a senior HR strategist with strong IR capabilities and proven experience in driving culture, productivity, compliance, and organisational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic HR Leadership:
- Formulate and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Partner with CXOs and functional leaders to build a high-performance culture.
- Lead workforce planning, succession planning and organisation capability development.
2. Talent Management & Organisation Development:
- Lead talent acquisition, leadership development, and performance management cycles.
- Oversee learning initiatives to boost capability and productivity.
- Drive DEI initiatives across units and locations.
3. Industrial Relations (IR) & Employee Relations:
- Manage multi-union negotiations and maintain harmonious industrial relations across units.
- Develop proactive IR frameworks to prevent disputes and maintain stability.
- Ensure adherence to labour laws and statutory compliance across all locations.
4. HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee compensation and benefits strategy for attracting and retaining talent.
- Ensure HR policies are aligned with legal frameworks and industry best practices.
- Leverage HR analytics for data-driven decision-making.
5. Culture, Transformation & Change Management:
- Drive cultural transformation aligned to organisational values.
- Lead HR digitalisation and process improvement initiatives.
- Manage large-scale change programs across multi-location environments.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong expertise in both Industrial Relations and Strategic HR.
- Experience in multi-union, multi-location, multi-unit environments.
- Strong business acumen, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
- Proven leadership and communication excellence.
Special Requirements:
- Experience in large-scale process/manufacturing industries preferred.
- Strong background managing large unionised workforces.
