Responsibilities :

The important job responsibilities are as below (but not restricted to):

- Building organizational capacity in terms of increasing individual capabilities and organizational scalability, for today and tomorrow

- Building performance culture across the organization

- Design and implement a performance management system which covers the performance planning, review, feedback and rewards & recognition, which is linked to organizational objectives

- Weekly / monthly review as per organization metrics, identifying developmental needs and provide solutions

- Conduct and consolidate Half yearly / Annual appraisals

- Strategizing and implementing measures to increase employer branding

- Strengthening internal communication to cement and strengthen the organization's brand value

- Efficient management of employee exits and staying engaged with the alumni

- Thorough knowledge and experience of end to end recruitment process- finding the best talent and bringing them to the team

Desired Competencies :

- Sector experience (not-for-profits) of at least 5 years is mandatory

- Strategic thinker

- Relationship building (interpersonal skills)

- Facilitation and implementation skills

- Communicate and inspire across levels

- Adaptability and managing change

- Program/process design skill

- Delegation and people development skill

- Decision making/solution orientation

- Domain specialist

Requirements:

- A Post Graduate Degree in HR/Psychology or any related field

- Experience of working in the social/development sector for at least 5 years

- A fair knowledge/understanding of the Indian Labour laws/HR policies

- Proven experience of linking HR processes to overall organizational outcome and impact effectiveness

- Prior experience in designing innovative approaches to human resources management and development

- Fluent in spoken and written English communication

- Experience of working in a multi-cultural, multi-linguistic environment is an added bonus

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills while ensuring confidentiality

- Strong computer literacy (Word, Excel, Gmail, Google Calendar, Skype, etc.)

- Ambition to thrive in an environment of deep learning and ongoing evolution
