The Head - Human Resources is expected to play a key role in standardization and harmonization of HR best practices across the organization. S/he is also expected to lead the implementation and monitoring of performance management and talent management systems in the business as well as own the annual budgeting process. The incumbent is expected to possess an entrepreneur's mindset and be a true business enabler. The company currently employs more than 1000 people and this number expected to increase with the planned retail expansion. The current size and scale of the business needs a senior HR practitioner to work closely with the Director and the leadership team to steer and prepare the business for future growth. The key accountabilities for the Head - Human Resources are as below: Strategic HR Partnering - Work closely with the Director and the corporate leadership team to understand the business environment, business strategies and work priorities. - Develop and lead the HR function; Be the single point of contact for key stakeholders for all people related matters. - Develop and institutionalise standardized human capital practices across the organization. - Deploy a "fit to win" structure. - Enable deployment of key HR processes - Organisation Design, Job definitions, Performance Management etc. with a long-term focus on Talent Management, Employee Value Proposition and Succession Planning. - Manage employee engagement, grievance handling, employee advocacy and counselling across levels Integration & Harmonization - Deduce and implement HR policies and formats. - Build synergies and lead standardisation of HR processes in collaboration with stakeholders. - Deploying set SOPs across retail units. Talent Management & Development - Integrate and on-board new joiners to ensure that they are productive early and curb early attrition. - Design and manage the 30-60-90 day conversations with new joiners. - Implement & drive an effective performance management system - Build functional capability for the team; Drive R&R to recognise achievers. - Managing Exit interviews, getting the insights on attrition and deploying corrective plan. Talent Acquisition - Own the hiring process across levels; responsible for the development, implementation and functionality enhancement of the recruitment system and process. - Build the recruitment muscle and deploy the right solutions for hiring. - Raise the bar on selection - improving the funnel, reengineer the selection process, TATs, curbing early attrition.
