Head - Human Resource - Global Exposure/Overseas Operations - Support the management team by managing Business-As-Usual tasks and providing strategic coverage for HR interventions and project-based HR initiatives at a regional level. - Ensure the smooth running of all HR operations and HR Administrative duties with the support of one or more team members in the team. - The responsibilities include execution of HR processes in compliance with corporate guidelines and standards, records management, leave and attendance, payroll, exit, employee relations - managing both tasks and the processes at a multi-country level. Other Role specifics : - Manage and control the HR policies and procedures - Ensure the policies are in compliance with the local legal requirements as well as the corporate strategy - Implement and enforce HR operational policies and procedures - Implement a performance management process and develop/implement a system to support it - Design and implement a training system and/or coordinate with external consultants or internal team (trainers) - Ensure the payroll and HR reports are completed on time across all locations as allocated. - Ensure the HR records are maintained and updated - Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards - Manage employee relations and the disciplinary and grievance processes Snapshot of tasks : - Mobilization and induction of new employees - Terminations and resignations - Promotions and transfers - Payroll - Salary, compensation and benefits study - Addressing Performance issues - Advise department heads on HR issues and local laws - Arrange training and monitor training data, including needs- analysis and ROI - Staff welfare and counselling, conflict resolution - Policies and procedures - Implement/Execute performance appraisal cycles - HR Systems - Provide support to Recruitment - Writing job descriptions, conducting interviews, etc. - Organizing staff events (annual party, team building etc.) - Records and Employee data management
