Head - Human Resources for a leading Home Appliance maker in India
Strategic HRM :
- Interfacing with Management and Heads of Department for implementing HR policies & procedures in line with core organizational objectives.
- Coordinating for the development of Departmental Budgets and ensuring adherence to the same.
- Facilitating Organisational Development (OD) plans for enhancing the operational effectiveness:
i) Design and implement HR Strategy as per the overall Business Strategy.
ii) HR Policy formulation and Communication Strategy.
iii) Competency analysis and Competency mapping.
Policy Planning & Budgeting :
- Planning the manpower requirements according to the needs of the organisation, keeping in view the market and the financial aspects.
- Developing the organisation chart & framing the reporting structure of the organisation.
- Listing of job evaluation & job description for different positions.
- Scheduling the expenditure of the HR team to make it cost-effective & more efficient
Recruitment & Resourcing:
- Management of the complete recruitment life-cycle for sourcing the best talent from diverse sources after identification of manpower requirements.
- Planning human resource requirements in consultation with heads of different functional & operational areas and conducting selection interviews.
- Working out various remuneration policies, including pay packages for newly hired employees, and executing the same.
- Overseeing induction/ orientation as well as implementing induction & HR manual.
Performance Appraisal:
- Implementing increment, incentive, and other remuneration policies.
- Managing Appraisal process across the levels and establishing a framework for substantiating Performance Appraisal system linked to Reward Management.
- Administering conceptualization and implementation of the Performance Management System for rewarding exceptional performers.
