Head - Human Resources - FinTech (15-20 yrs)
HR Head - fintech
A fast growing and well backed fintech firm is looking for a Head of HR to build on and reinforce the company's corporate culture, strengthen the various HR functions and provide leadership to enhance the overall impact of the HR function.
Responsibilities :
- Develop a thorough understanding of the business and its performance drivers in order to develop and deliver effective HR programs and practices
- Strategize to create, reinforce and operationalize a uniform company culture that permeates across locations and levels, and create a community among current and future employees
- Direct the strategic framework for training and development, performance evaluation, retention strategy, staffing, induction and on-boarding, talent planning, employee engagement etc.
- Craft and build the employer brand, find avenues of attracting great talent, implement an effective talent acquisition strategy and controlling attrition;
- Formulate a talent management system to support the development of company talent across levels and build a pipeline of high performing talent and work on resource forecasting
- Have a high empathy quotient, be perceived as a problem solver, and serve as the point of contact for employment relations
- Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards and oversee statutory compliance
- Build, mentor and lead the HR team ensuring effective relationships with stakeholders and operational efficiencies
Qualifications/Requirements :
- 15+ years' experience in HR with at least 3 years in a leadership role with a startup of scale
- Prior experience with a mature startup is preferred
- PG/MBA in HR from a reputable institute is a must
- Ability to manage internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and agile environment
- Excellent leadership skills and ability to mentor the team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
