Role and Responsibilities: - Consult with line management providing HR guidance when appropriate. - Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR group to develop solutions, programs and policies. - Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conducts effective, thorough and objective investigations. - Maintain in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance. - Partner with legal department as needed/required. - Works closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention. - Provides HR Policy guidance and interpretation Develop employment terms for new hire - Identify training needs for business units and individual executive coaching needs - Manage on-site HR function to include the supervision of a Human Resources Associate. - Manage day-to-day human resources administrative tasks insuring compliance and accuracy. - Oversee business unit employee relations activities such as annual events, wellness initiatives and special requests. - Work closely with Business Unit supervisor and managers to insure quality recruitment services. - Manage and direct various special assigned projects from corporate headquarters with limited supervision. Desired Skills and Experience: - Working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee and union avoidance techniques, diversity, performance management, federal and state respective employment laws. - Previous HR leadership experience - Excellent consulting skills.
