Head - Human Resources - Construction/Industrial/Manufacturing (18-25 yrs)

Position Title: HR Head

Reporting to: Group President

Reportees: All Plant heads across India

Experience:18-25 years (Manufacturing industry background and experience in handling diverse workforce of 2000+ employees in multiple locations including union / non-union, temporary staff, front-line staff, mid-level and Senior Management)

Education: MBA (HR) / PG Diploma in Industrial Relations & Personnel Management, core exposure to other areas

Key Deliverable & Associated Major Activities:

1. Organizational Development:

- Create a learning environment & bringing in the best practices from across industries.

- Update and keep the management abreast with the current - Organization Development Practices- and provide solutions to fit our organizations.

2. Strategy:

- Keeping abreast of the environment to help align HR with the businesses wherever opportunities arise. Facilitate in distilling and arriving at focused HR strategies for the business as and when required.

3. Change Management:

- Formulating change management strategy

- Bringing in change of working styles & synergies & aligning

- Exposing the workforce to newer, refined & best practices

4. Balanced Score Card:

- Formulation of Strategy Map

- Liasoning with the company's top management team & brainstorming on the strategies & OI

- Preparation of BSC for Individual group companies & Cascading

- BSC Review & Improvement recommendations

5. Competency

- Cascading and building the workforce as per competency frame work.

- Facilitating the Development of tools for the assessment of the competencies

- Conducting BEI & DC

6. Performance Management System:

- Getting PMS Manual in place

- Partner with C&B team for incentive & percentage hike and other remuneration policies

- Share quarterly analysis, learning, feedback & action plans on PMS

- Awareness & Training Programmes related to PMS

- Facilitating Promotions

7. Talent Management:

- Formulation of talent management strategy

- Talent Management Framework

- Creating a Pipeline of competent workforce

- Identifying critical positions for SP

- Interpretation, Analysis & SP documentation

8. Reward Management:

- Reward & Recognition Manual Preparation

- Streamlining, Developing & having a uniform appraisal & reward system

- Building systems for performance & compensation measurement & reward

9. Group Companies Forum:

- Synergize the group companies by regular HR Meets/CEO Meets - update and cascading of best practices.

10. Recruitment & Selection (For Senior Management Positions)

Short listing & Interviewing
CTC Negotiation & LOI
Induction/ Orientation & On boarding
Competency Based Assessment CBA & BEI)

11. Vendor Management:

- Ensure cordial relationship with HR Consultants

- Keep abreast with the Consultancy services & trends
