Reports to - Director Business Vertical India
Functionally to Director HR Division and Group Country HR
- The role of Head of HR is to implement the Group's HR policies and tools and to provide support to the management on HR issues.
- Assist the business India Director in the management of HR issues in line with business objectives and HR Business Group priorities.
- Act as a HR manager for the HQ team.
- As a member of the India Senior HR Committee, co-design and support the deployment of common country HR initiatives.
- Lead and coach multiple manufacturing sites (5) HR Managers .
- Implement an efficient and integrated strategy for staffing, recruiting, induction, training and career management.
- Ensure efficient payroll and administration process in cooperation with Country HR team.
- Guarantee working conditions in compliance with group Health, Safety and Environment policies.
- Support Site HR managers in managing Industrial Relations with local employee representatives. Must have handled Wage Settlements personally in a manufacturing setup.
- Together with Plant Managers, Operations Head and Group Country HR, develop and implement a robust IR policy.
- Lead implementation of Group HR policies and processes within the site, including Employee Empowerment.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree with specialization in HR.
- Minimum 15 yrs of experience in a HR function within an industrial environment.
- Good knowledge of employment law.
- International mindset.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
