Position title : Head of HR Tires, India Key responsibilities 1. Design HR Roadmap for Tire business in alignment with the business needs and leadership for an inclusive work culture 2. End to end HR responsibilities for the Plant & Sales Office with strength of 1000+ employees 3. Shop floor Management - including labor relations, tracking of settlement agreements, manage the MOUs 4. Talent Management - to plan and deploy relevant and appropriate development initiatives 5. Compliance to Labour Laws - review and align on a periodical compliance check 6. Support business management - by presenting the current and potential scenarios from people perspectives 7. Demonstrate role model behavior - for the Team and management personnel 8. HR service improvement - to develop a solution mindset and speed of delivery. Experience - 15-18 years of industry experience, having handled HR Function with a mid-sized business - Independent work habits in a matrix working environment - Intercultural know how eg working in local scenarios, multi-cultural, sensitivity towards local dynamics with a global perspective - Ability to interact with a local accent, fluency in English, good in written and oral communication, influencing skill - Matured personality type (age group : 35years + ) to command the respect of employees and peers Other success factors - Conceptual Knowledge in HR processes including global tools - Expertise in Labor Laws and their interpretations - Hands-on with recruitment, training, competency development - Ability to form and share independent views
