Purpose of The role :
The role of the Head of HR is critical at this inflection point in organization' evolution. This leadership position will be responsible for designing and executing the people strategy aligned with business growth, innovation, and culture building. The individual will play a pivotal role in shaping a high-performance, mission-driven organization that can attract, develop, and retain world-class talent across engineering, manufacturing, and corporate functions.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
- Partner with the Founders and Leadership Team to evolve the HR strategy aligned with business objectives.
- Act as a key member of the Executive Team, contributing to overall business planning and decision-making.
- Champion organizational culture that reflects the company's innovation-first ethos and entrepreneurial spirit.
Talent Strategy & Employer Branding:
- Build and execute a talent acquisition strategy that supports rapid scaling, especially in R&D, engineering, and operations.
- Develop strong employer branding strategies to attract top talent from automotive, tech, and manufacturing sectors.
Talent Development & Capability Building:
- Create an integrated talent development framework covering leadership development, learning pathways, and succession planning.
- Introduce structured performance management systems with clear OKRs/KPIs and continuous feedback mechanisms.
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Oversee HR operations including HRMS implementation, payroll, statutory compliance, and HR analytics.
- Ensure HR practices are scalable, data-driven, and compliant with labor laws and ESG mandates.
Culture & Employee Experience:
- Lead initiatives to embed a performance-oriented, inclusive, and innovation-led culture.
- Own the entire employee lifecycle-from onboarding to offboarding-with a strong focus on engagement and retention.
Organizational Design & Change Management:
- Guide the organization through transitions such as expansion, restructuring, or new business models.
- Partner closely with Manufacturing & R&D heads for workforce planning and shopfloor HR.
Ideal Candidate Profile:
Educational Qualifications:
- MBA/PGDM in HR from a Tier-1 institute are preferred.
- Bachelor's in Engineering/Science is a plus given the deep-tech nature of the business.
Experience:
- 12-18 years of progressive HR leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a Head of HR or equivalent role.
- Strong exposure to manufacturing, automotive, EV, or technology-driven organizations.
- Prior experience in scaling teams in high-growth or startup environments will be highly valued.
- Proven track record of leading culture transformation, talent acquisition, and OD initiatives.
