Job Title : Head HR - Manufacturing Operations

Reporting To : CHRO

Industry : Manufacturing Industry ( Preferably Pharma, Chemical, FMCG, Brewery, Auto)

Experience : 18+ Years

Credentials : Incumbent must have managed or managing HR activities for multiple manufacturing sites.

Job Description :

Budgeting & Productivity :

- Responsible for Annual Manpower Budget to ensure head counts are well within the agreed budget.

- Working closely with various stakeholders to understand their manpower requirement and suggest alternative & economical ways to reduce manpower cost.

- Closely work with the operational excellence team to improve the overall productivity of the organization by identifying surplus manpower.

Business Partnership :

- Will be business partner of the Global Head of Tech Ops.

- Responsible for overseeing the HR partnership of Mfg, QA, Supply Chain, Procurement and Opex teams.

- All Mfg HR Site Heads (Cluster Site Heads) and a HRBP for SC, QA etc. will report to this position directly.

HR Analytics :

- Analysis of data related to hiring and exit to monitor attrition rate across mfg sites.

- Analysis of performance appraisal data to design customized trainings to improve job specific managerial/ technical skills.

Performance Management System :

- Closely work with Total Rewards, Talent Acquisition and other COEs to ensure timely completion of mid and annual appraisal reviews, hiring of all positions and training to all employees in Tech Ops functions.

- Manage the Promotion and increment system as per the laid down policies and procedures

- Manage the performance of all the direct reports to this position.

Industrial Relations & Work Force Management :

- Closely work with Unions to ensure smooth IR climate

- Take appropriate actions in case of policy violations and effective management of consequences of the same.

- Managing employee relations, establishment matters, grievance, disciplinary, vigilance & court cases management.

- Advising line management on labour legislations. Need base participation in Conciliation Proceedings, attending labour court, High court and other related courts.

CSR & General Administration :

- Carry out CSR initiatives in compliance with corporate guidelines and budget and execution of employee welfare schemes etc.
