Head - Human Resource - Insurance Broking Firm (10-15 yrs)

Our client Anviti Insurance Brokers Private Limited is in the process of setting up its Insurance Broking operations in India. Anviti is promoted by Catamaran, the proprietary investment firm of Mr N.R. Narayana Murthy, founder of Infosys Limited. Catamaran has a long-term orientation and intend to build an enduring institution, based on values and excellence, that will achieve market leadership

- The leader is responsible for defining and executing the Human Resource strategy of the organization. The HR leader is responsible for the entire HR operations, including organization design, resourcing plans and forecasts based on business growth plan, performance management, compensation strategy, employee well-being, payroll, capability and leadership development, and compliance requirements. Manages with a team of HR professionals for all offices and centers of the company

- The incumbent will define and execute a strong and ethical organization. Ideal candidates are Leaders with over 10 to 15 years of experience at Senior Executive levels and heading Human Resources functions, with a Master's Degree in Human Resources.

- Experience in the Insurance or Banking industry will be preferred.

- The leader should have had prior experience in managing HR for at least a 300-member Organization.

The incumbent must have performed the following responsibilities in the current role :

- Created resourcing plans and forecasts based on business growth plan

- Defined Organization design and restructuring initiatives

- Created and deployed HR policies and Procedures to support the organization growth

- Conducted talent review and succession planning initiatives

- Defined staff engagement & retention action plans

- Defined and implemented performance management, compensation and incentive strategy

- Driven talent development and training initiatives

- Engaged in employment contract negotiations and restructured packages

- Oversight of HR infrastructure and operations

- Established and maintained an effective Human Resources Information System to facilitate efficient reporting.
