Job Descriptions:

Personnel & Statutory Compliances

- Payroll Management (payroll Software: visual pay, payment& SAP), Time Office management.

- Maintain employee's personal files, attendance, leave records, NDA and updating employee's data bank.

- Full and final settlement and conducting Exit Interviews.

- Submission of returns under various Labour Laws, Factory Acts, MPCB etc.

- Liaison with Govt. agencies i.e. P.F., E.S.I., Labour department, Safety & Health, Pollution, PFA, Weight and Measurement, due diligence etc.

- Statutory Compliance and Liaison to complete on timely basis.

- Responsible for the Statutory Compliance under Factory Act, Shop Act, Contract Labour Act, PF, ESI, PT, LWF etc. Act for the manufacturing unit and branch offices in India

- To keep abreast of the changes in the labour laws and regulations and ensure to bring it to the attention of the company and suggest corrective measures

- Responsible for communication and all liaison work with various Government authorities like Dept. of Ind. Safety and Health, Labour Commissioner, MPCB, MIDC, Police Dept., Employment Officer, Apprentice Advisor, PF and ESI Enforcement Inspector and Local bodies like MCCIA, NIPM etc.

Industrial Relation : 

- Dealing with grievances and disputes related to staff. Dealing with contractual manpower.

- Conducting domestic enquiries, coordinating Legal cases of the company.

- Effectively liaise with the Union and resolve the grievances on a day to day basis and ensure harmonious Employee / Industrial Relations in the company

- Handling day to day IR issues and initiating disciplinary action as required

- Handling Trade Union, Wage negotiations and settlement

- Managing Time office function, attendance and leave records, Access control system etc.

- Handling Contract Labour compliance, attendance and passing of Bills

- Recruitment of VET Apprentices, ensuring sufficient manpower for smooth operation of plant

- Handling legal matters and co-coordinating with external legal advisor

- Conducting Employee Satisfaction Survey and review and take corrective actions

- Responsible for company sponsored CSR initiative and activities as per policy and guidelines, conducting employee welfare / engagement activities

- Represented HR in internal and external audits like ISO. OHSAS, Fire and Safety audits etc.

- Assisting EHS department in implementation of employee's health, safety and welfare Policy and plan

Administration & Liaison Role:

- General administration, Casual and Contractual Manpower. Handling Cab facility, Rest House, Office decorum etc.

- Stationery, Housekeeping, Building Maintenance, Canteen & Pantry, etc.

- Checking of Employee's T.A., D.A., mobile, conveyance Bills. Dealing with Govt. & non-Govt Agencies.

- Revitalized security by procuring & maintaining bio-metrics, high resolution- CCTV camera's surveillance of all five factories and head office.

Employee Engagement & Employee Relations

- Formulation & implementation of blue collar employees engagement activities.

- Formed CSR activity under (RACT) and adopt the activities at Grampanchayat / village.

- Regularly discussing specific issues with employees regarding their grievances, hindrances and undertaking steps for resolving them.

- To educate employees about company policies and rules to be followed through policy manuals and employee handbooks. To determine motivation & satisfaction levels of employees through personal interaction.

Handling Disciplinary Cases : 

- To investigate employee fraud cases & submit a fair report to disciplinary committee and to take action on the recommendations received by disciplinary committee.

- Identify the habitual and continuous absenteeism cases and take appropriate disciplinary actions.

- Develop and improve the employees communication and presentation skills within the Organisation.

General Administration : 

- Responsible for Factory and General administration like managing Canteen/ Cafeteria, Security, Company Owned Vehicles, Employees Transport, Housekeeping, Gardening, Guest House, Hotel bookings, Foreign travel and guest Management. SPOC for Statutory Compliance:

- Effectively conducting Statutory Compliances gap audit and managing compliances under Shop Act, PF, ESI, PT, Bonus, Gratuity, Contract Labour, Min. Wages, and Payment of Wages, Employment Exchange, and Workmen's Compensation Act. etc.

- Responsible for Registration / Renewal / Amendment of License / Registrations under applicable law.

- Up-to-date maintaining of Register & records under the applicable Act

- Obtained exemption under Shop Act & Payment of Wages Act from the appropriate authority

- Liaisons with the various Govt. Authorities under the Act & preventing litigations.

- Assessing various statutory liabilities under PF, ESI, and MLWF & PT Act.

- Attended the proceedings at various labour offices pursuant to notices

- Represented the organization during the various statutory inspection by the various authorities /inspectors

- Coordinating between Corporate, Global Compliance Team & Labour Law Consultant

- Maintaining Compliance & investigation of the matters under Prevention Of Sexual Harassment

Vendor / Contract Labour compliance & Management:

- Issuing of form V to the eligible contractor to apply for the license.

- Monthly Verification of contract labour records / registers & compliance

- Conducting audit of contract labour compliance & ensuring compliance.

- Advising vendor on contract labour compliance & the issues.

- Seeking approval to release of payment of compliant vendors.

HR Administration and Payroll:

- Handling employees queries & grievances. Maintaining of personal files & documents

- Supporting various HR training, events management. Billing & provision of HR budget and cost tracking

- Grooming and supporting new HR SPOC about the policies & resolution of the employee query.

Employee Engagement Activities / CSR Activities:

- Coordination with NGO and other under privileged community and helping them with CSR

- Organizing blood donation camp and promoting employee participation in CSR activities
