The position will be responsible for all matters pertaining to employee relations, industrial disputes, internal disciplinary proceedings, representing company in legal forums on employee-related matters and will act as internal counsel for labor matters.
- Monitors HR processes, policies, and initiatives for all employees across the business units to align to Corporate and Business objectives.
- Implements Human Resource strategies including talent acquisition, performance management, rewards & recognition, employee engagement, safety and health, succession planning, employee relations and retention.
- Drives the development and implementation of the talent management strategy that builds a robust and diverse talent pipeline at all levels of the organization.
- Works closely with VP - Operations to develop & execute human resource strategies that effectively support and enhance the overall business strategies.
- Ensures the workforce has defined KRAs to provide better role clarity and performance measures across all levels.
- Leads capability-building process to meet present and future capability needs to help the business remain competitive.
- Supports and implements people policies, processes, initiatives and procedures, employee engagement initiatives.
- Closely monitors team performance and designs programs to enhance their productivity through training & development.
- Works closely with Manufacturing Heads on Plant level administration, Compliance Management, and Industrial Relations.
Candidate :
- MBA HR / PG Diploma in PM & IR with the proven academic record (>60%). Hands on experience of 15 to 18 years in manufacturing. Exposure of handling multiple unions & recognized Unions.
- Excellent knowledge and hands-on in employment/labour related laws and compliance.
- An excellent team player with knowledge of manufacturing industry - Have worked on various HR functions and strategy
- Excellent leader with high people influencing capabilities.
- Independent and organized work style.
- Should have experience in Unionized work environment and have demonstrated experience in dealing with Unions, work/wage settlements both at internal and at the statutory conciliation levels
