JOB DESCRIPTION I. JOB DETAILS Job / Role : HR Business Partner - Retail Business Unit (BU) : Retail Division : Human Resources Department : Human Resources Reporting Supervisor : Head-HR Number of Staff Supervised JOB PURPOSE : The purpose of this role is to ensure effective implementation of the HR strategy, Systems &amp; Processes &amp; Policies for Retail HR function, so as to ensure an effective HR organization. The role would serve as a true business partner, responsible for building people and organizational capability in line with the business objectives. The incumbent will be responsible for conceptualizing and implementing organisational effectiveness programs, compensation strategies, performance management and the Learning &amp; Development framework II. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES : Functional: - Ensures that the HR objectives for the Business are aligned to the short term and long terms strategic goals and the overall business vision of the group - Responsible for the conceptualization, formation and implementation of organizational effectiveness, compensation strategies, performance management programs and Learning &amp; Development framework across the company. - Responsible for ensuring smooth implementation of business wide HR policies &amp; practices with an aim to align to the business strategy and company values. - Leads change management/organizational development initiatives - Defines, develops and institutionalizes a corporate succession plan. - Drive Senior Executive Leadership Assessment &amp; Development for the business. - Designs and implements reward and recognition programs for top performers - Organization Development: Drive developmental initiatives like engagement surveys, open communication forums, skip meetings to check the pulse of employees - Implement talent retention programs - Assess and drive leadership learning and development III. QUALIFICATIONS, CERTIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE : Minimum Qualifications : MBA in HRD Age Group : 35- 37 Yrs max CTC : 40-50 Lacs Specific experience : - Should have had strong experience for about 8 - 10 years of working in hi-growth start-up companies - Should have handled Retail HR role - Should have had close interaction with the Business Heads and have been the member of the senior executive team - Should have a start-up mind set and have the ability to value diversity
