Head - Human Resource & Administration - FMCG (10-13 yrs)

Role and Responsibilities :

- Annually reviews and makes recommendations to executive management for improvement of the organization's Culture, Policies, Procedures and Practices on personnel matters.

- Helps in creating a winning culture based on agility, positivity and resilience in the organization.

- Maintains responsibility for organization compliance with state and local legislation pertaining to all personnel matters.

- Communicates changes in the organization's personnel policies and procedures and ensures that proper compliance is followed.

- Assists executive management in the annual review, preparation and administration of the organization's wage and salary program.

- Coordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.

- Recruitment for all positions as per manpower budget and the winning traits of the organization to be ensured within Turn around time.

- Works directly with department managers to assist them in carrying out their responsibilities for business strategy and long term goals.

- Recommends, evaluates and participates in staff development for the organization.

- Develops and maintains a human resource information system that meets the organization's personnel information needs.

- Participates on committees and special projects and seeks additional responsibilities.

- Facilitate High Performance High Potential mapping process with the Leadership team, including periodic reviews of Career Development Plans.

- Partner with Global Organization Effectiveness team to customize and drive global learning tools for India.

- Leading Employee Communication forums such as Townhall, Meetings, Employee Newsletter, People Policies and Processes updates, Safety awareness.

- Create a winning culture through performance review measures and help employees have a transparent feedback mechanism.

- Streamlining HR processes to ensure consistency of HR experience across factory and

- Managing the Performance Review process Responsible for salary administration, PF liaising and partnering with Finance in audits and related reporting & budgeting.

- Ensuring comprehensive workforce planning that takes in consideration current and future requirements.

- Adhering to Budgeting and cost control. Savings from admin budget to go up.

Accountability :


- Propose the annual HR and Admin budget and manage the department aiming to achieve savings

- Ensure Talent management and succession planning for the organization.

- Contribute & lead the performance management process / or promotion process based on performance and in line with approved pay scale and company policies

- Prepare HR trend analysis, collect data, identify core issues and recommend solutions as appropriate

- Work on special projects with Admin team to upgrade the facility

- Facility management including maintenance and upkeep of the facility. Security and safety should be on utmost priority.

- Establish employee retention strategies

- Audit payroll and check data entry to ensure integrity and accuracy

- Lead the HR and Admin team and coach them for career development and professional growth within the department.
