A. Key Accountabilities:


- HR Strategy & Planning :


Major Activities :


1. As part of the Management team, participate in developing and implementing business strategy for the organization from people perspective.


2. Partner with GM India to evolve a comprehensive HR Strategy & Philosophy aligned to the business needs.


3. Provide HR Support to develop SE Asia markets for business growth.


4. Translate strategic business plans/objectives into effective organization structures, roles & processes to support achievement of business goals.


5. Review and monitor budgets relating to people costs.


Key Result Area :


- Achievement of business objectives


Key Accountabilities:


- Effective execution of HR strategies :


Major Activities :


1. Provide leadership and guidance in the development and design of HR strategies & policies for the organization.


2. Conceptualize & implement the design and piloting of people strategies across HR functional areas ( Eg. Manpower planning, recruitment, talent development, rewards, employee engagement,performance management etc).


3. Review, amend and create policies and their effectiveness so as to ensure people policies meet business needs.


Key Result Area :


- Timely & successful implementation of various HR systems and processes.


- KPIs related to Recruitment TAT, Manpower Budgets etc.


Key Accountabilities:


- Building world class talent pool :


Major Activities :


1. Ensure effectiveness in business performance by driving clarity of individual accountabilities and key performance areas.


2. Conceptualize and implement knowledge & learning management systems and processes to develop a strong internal talent pool.


3. Effective development of a robust career and succession planning framework in line current & future business requirement.


Key Result Area :


- Timely & successful implementation of talent development initiatives.


- % of internal filling up of vacancies


- % Retention of High performers


Key Accountabilities:


- Employee Engagement & Retention :


Major Activities :


1. Ensure Employee Engagement levels are monitored through feedbacks, surveys etc


2. Ensure necessary actions are taken to enhance employee engagement levels with proactive and responsive actions.


3. Plan and execute appropriate team building activities and programs to foster cohesiveness and motivate employees across the organization.


Key Result Area :


- Employee Engagement scores


- Attrition rate


- Employee Morale


Key Accountabilities:


- Maintaining Harmonious Industrial Relations :


Major Activities :


1. Initiate & develop productive relations with Union/contractors/hired services.


2. Ensure healthy community relations thru various CSR activities.


- Compliance to legal/statutory regulations :


1. Ensure & monitor statutory compliance relating to all labour laws & factories act.


2. Ensure compliance to all internal & external audits.


Key Result Area :


- Work hours lost/strikes etc


- Productivity improvement


- Other Activities:


1. Continuously review SOPs/SLAs of the department


2. Prepare monthly department MIS report for facilitating management decisions


3. Mentor/Coach senior management group members to improve team dynamics.


4. Manage Administration dept& ensure projects taken are completed on time & within budgets. Ensure satisfaction levels.

- Adverse remarks or show cause notices from labour/Industrial Govt offices.


- NCRs


- Process improvements


- No.of new initiatives taken


- Cost reduction
