1) Excellent Communication Skills (English and Tamil)

2) Build trust with the stakeholders and ability to influence CXO level stakeholders

3) Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities

4) Must have handled multilocation team

5) Hands on experience with Statutory Compliance, Industrial Relations / Union Management

6) Adequate experience of Payroll Process

Educational :

Qualifications : MBA - HR / MSW / Personnel Administration

Relevant years of Experience : Minimum 15 years of experience post Qualification

Direct Reports: 6 (team size 30-35)

Preference : Manufacturing

Job Purpose : To contribute to business' operational goals, this position is responsible for designing and implementing HR plan effectively for the organization

Key Responsibilities :


- Manpower planning based on business growth plan for all segments including blue collar employees

- Ensuring critical positions are manned by planning internal movement of employees

- Plan HR Budget in line with guidelines from Head Office and Business Strategy (wages and salary, employee welfare, L&D budget and other HR Admin related points)


- Drive Learning and Development based on business and functional needs for supervisory and managerial cadre along with common programs run by Head Office

- Skill Development of workers


- Anchor Annual Performance Management System for white collar employees, led by Head Office

- Career Planning for supervisory and middle management, promote internal movement and ensure retention of key talent

- Plan blue collar employee annual appraisal and wage increase in line with budget

- Drive Business Vertical Level Employee Engagement Plan along with planning and implementing segment-wise engagement driver to ensure improvement in employee engagement score

- Drive Rewards and Recognition which are linked to productivity and process improvement e.g., Suggestion Scheme / Kaizen - HR and Admin Policy Deployment

- Harmonious industrial relations

- Internal / Trade Union Management - Wage Settlement

- Supervise Workers' grievance redressal, welfare activities


- Supervise Employee Life Cycle, Payroll and Legal / Statutory Compliance,
