Basic Information :

Job Title: Head HSE Mines - FACOR

Grade: M4

Reports To: Chief HSE Officer- FACOR

Division/Department: HSE

Location: Sukhinda Valley, Odisha

Key Accountabilities :

- Design & implement Safety Framework and Management Plan for all the Mines in FACOR

- Driving ESG/ VSAP/ VSS to the grass root level.

- Ensure safe Mining Operation in adherence to all Legal & Vedanta Safety Framework requirements

- Drive Behavior based safety across Company and Business Partner workforce

- Pioneer automation & digitization projects pertaining to Safety

- Implement a critical risk management system and improve the quality of our Incident investigations.

- Implement Safety related learnings effectively by closely working with Cross Functional leaders and stakeholders to create shared ownership

Qualification and Knowledge :

- B.E./B.Tech. Mining Engineer with 1st Class Certificate with minimum 12 years of relevant work experience.

Academic Criteria :

- 60% throughout in 10th, 12th & Graduation and Post-graduation

- Maximum 1 year of gap between either XII & Graduation or between Graduation & Post Graduation, no other gap in regular course of studies is allowed
