Job Description

The Head HR and Operations will ensure a people-centric technology and operations integrated function. He or she will drive and execute strategy and would be a key interface with teams (P&C, Talent Acquisition, Training, IT & Operations, Marketing). The person would be the primary point of contact for these teams in India and global value-chain owners.

As the Head HR and Service Delivery Operations, India, you will be responsible for:


- Championing a culture that recognizes and upholds the Firm's mission, purpose and vision, and code of conduct; is recognized for integrity in every aspect of their role.

- Measurably contribute to the leadership, growth and profitability of the business through effectively developing and delivering our people strategy

- Drive and execute site management, operations for India CoE in alignment with industry and global standards.

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the site as a Delivery Lead & provide necessary support & guidance to local teams IT & Ops, Talent Acquisition, Administrative Teams, etc.

- Direct accountability of the HR function to ensure HR services are designed and delivered that support business strategy.

- Proactive member of India Management team to drive the India strategy forward.

- Ideate on areas for organizational growth & development in consulting with the firms senior leaders.

- Must be a HR Operations champion and have a good understanding of labor legislation/Laws.

- Oversee India Compliance.

- Vendor engagement and management.

- Lead employee life-cycle processes such as organization design & planning, change management, talent acquisition, comp & ben, retention strategies, training and development, employee relations, engagement, & compliance for the India division.

- Plan, lead, develop, coordinate, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organization's human resource compliance and strategy needs.

Data Analytics & Reporting.

A successful candidate will demonstrate a track record of excellence in:

- Business acumen & strategic thought leadership, championing a high-performance team culture.

- Proven track record of delivering HR solutions by optimally utilizing resources & technology.

- Managing change through successfully proven change program across diverse entities. Ability to work effectively in a global matrix environment.

- Building effective teams and creating a culture of collaboration and teamwork.

- Exhibiting comprehensive HR knowledge that promotes profitable growth for the Firm encourages a learning environment.

- Creating and managing project portfolio; prioritizing projects based on the Firm's goals and strategies.

- Exhibiting standard of operational excellence for others to follow, functioning as strategic business partner to all clients and vendors.

- Preferably, have prior Project/Program/Portfolio management experience working with a global organization.

Qualifications:

- Minimum 15 years of relevant experience

- Full-time Master's degree in HR, or an MBA

- Exposure working with global firms in a matrix setup

- Knowledge and experience working on HRMIS systems (PeopleSoft, Workday, SAP), Payroll tools, Talent ATS (Greenhouse, GoHire, SmartRecruiters, Recruiterflow, etc.)

- In-depth knowledge of employment laws applicable in the jurisdictions the Firm operates in.
