Position Head of HR and IR
Reporting to : Chief Executive
Location: Coimbatore, India
Business Turnover: Above 2000 Crores

Experience:
Over 25 years of Experience in a mix of Industrial Relations and legal background. Should be a very strong IR person with excellent knowledge in labor relations and statutory compliances. Should be able to deal with Trade Unions, Contractors and Labours
Responsibilities:
Accountabilities Industrial Relations:
- Manage Industrial Relations and Compliance to Statutory Norms. File returns as per the statutory norms and stated timelines.
- Coordinate with consultant/ government authorities for regulatory certifications and registrations. Reply on time to government queries and data requirements. Facilitate Annual Inspection/s.
- Liaise with government agency regularly and ensure cordial relations.- Conduct negotiations with the Union representatives on various issues.
- Reply to legal proceedings and court notices with help of legal. Attend court matters as and when required, and on the dates of case-hearing.- Appriase senior management on the status of court proceedings and notices received, on a monthly basis.- Communicate regularly on discipline to employees. Manage all disciplinary action/s.
- Handle labour problems and negotiations with Internal & External Unions & Contractors, towards a peaceful industrial relations climate.
- Ensure labour productivity, labour compliance, contract updates.
Human Resources Management:
- Managing recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, coaching, counseling and planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing.
- Responsible for performance management cycle.
- Act as business partner and provide dashboards/ analytics to business heads/ department heads to help them have a pulse of their team.
- Provide employee development and counseling assistance to employees to enhance employee performance and productivity.
- Drive an effective Learning and development agenda that impacts employees and the businesses. - Update HR policies in line with the business and organization requirement.
- Be astute to handle dynamics at the workplace and help employees to overcome crisis situation.
- Work as an HR business partner. Should be responsible for recruitments, performance management, and entire life cycle of the employee.
- Implementation of HR policies.
