About the client : A global leader & multinational locomotive /rail transport manufacturer/industrial manufacturing domain Job Location : Bangalore Role Responsibilities: - Setting up and managing the shared services centers and COE in India - Build GFC capability in the long run in controlling domain. The leader must also have a transformation & continuous improvement mindset with the ability to improve operational metrics, so as to deliver value to key internal stakeholders (via improvements in data analytics, processes efficiencies, innovation, reduction in overall cost to serve) - Managing region delivery expectations on controlling and reporting scope, generating efficiencies via standardization of reports, activities and processes across sites, accelerating automation efforts and strong/structured transition management from regions to GFC's - Prepares budgets and forecasts for the GFC Controlling teams and identifies areas to improve resource utilization and productivity. - Develops analytical insights and systems solutions to pave the path for set up of a data factory in GFC's that support the regions/Clusters. - Workload/Workforce balancing, systems and tools roadmap development. - Documentation of business processes and SOP's applicable to GFC Controlling operations & BCP planning - Develops a strong working and partnering relationship with various Country and Region Management teams to improve customer feedback mechanisms, KPI measurement practices, resolution of various customer concerns - Build a strong resilient internal finance team that supports the Regions on their deliverables. - Training the team on Controlling activities, reports, rules in the firm - bring domain experience (Site/Project/Industrial/FP&A/R&D etc) Education and Experience Requirements: - Experience between 11 to 17 years ; (Chartered Accountant (CA- from UK Or India) OR Certified Management Accountant (CMA - from UK or India) qualification is a MUST for this role alongwith experience in setting Finance GBS/Shared Services/ COE in India and team management experience of 100 fte's minimum - Global Finance Controlling and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) experience coming from Manufacturing / Engineering background is a MUST . - Excellent exposure in setting up and managing the GBS Centres in India - Exposure to Controlling COE's in GFC's - Former Site & Project Controllership, FP&A experience with strong people management skills - Part of GBS Leadership Team; drove Digital Initiatives, Automation / RPAs and enhancing In-house capabilities - Prior experience acting as Finance Site Leader (managing team sizes of 50-100 individuals) for overall financial functions & revenue of 700-800 mn $ (business size) - Instrumental in setting up Shared Service Centres & COEs in India Orchestrated E2E Financial Transformations; led several transition & migration projects involving operational transformation, financial transformation, change management, process improvements and technology innovations
