Job Description :
Reporting into the Country Head HR and a team of 10+ reports, your responsibilities would include the following:
- Ensuring strong HR and IR business integration across all plants & uniform structure implementation by ensuring smooth IR actions
- Facilitating smooth plant operation of plants with strong focus on IR activities like union handling, LTS management, handling issues like Dharna, lockouts, strikes etc. and ensuring zero man days/ productivity loss
- Responsible for end to end HR activities from hire to retire process and make it uniform across all plants
- Proactive IR management to avoid any risk of new union formation/ other
- Leading to culture integration in terms of employment regulations, compensation of employees
- Ensuring the implementation of LTS and set mechanism for compliance review with union
- Establishing long term IR Blue print for organisation introducing uniform policies and LTS approach
- Developing IR Capabilities across organisation - LTS, Mfg. Excellence with Proactive IR & Supervisory Skills
- Managing uniform grievance redressal mechanism, contract labour management system, OT reduction plan and R&R
- Maintaining harmonious industrial relations among management and employees through efficient administration and resolution of employee's grievances
The Successful Applicant:
- You should come with a minimum of 15+ years of experience in working as a Plant IR/ HR professional in a strong IR heavy environment
- Must have worked in HR & IR for multiple plants within a manufacturing environment
- You should be fluent in English and should have strong communication skills
- Candidates should possess excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills
- Candidates should have very strong exposure to IR and north India belt union experience is mandatory
