Our client is a reputed &amp; global pharmaceutical and healthcare company. We have a role of Head, Government Affairs, Policy and Advocacy based in Delhi. Role reports in to Vice President Government Affairs, Policy and Advocacy. Team size : 1 Direct reportee Job Details -&nbsp; Key player with Government-Policy Makers and Community Representatives at Centre and state level across country. The role ensures client plays an active part in shaping the Indian healthcare environment, delivers alignment between the position of the Indian Government and builds trust with key internal and external stakeholders, including enhancing our ways of working and the perception of the firm and its products. 1. Lead development and implementation of Policy &amp; Advocacy Strategy in India 2. Develop and strengthen the Government Affairs capability. 3. Engage with Commercial leads to identify and prioritise Policy &amp; Advocacy issues and lead the development of plans around these issues that are market specific. 4. Develop the policy content/material : identify, develop and produce policy material on key issues to support government interactions. 5. Build partnerships with local and regional Policy &amp; Advocacy Stakeholders (incl. senior policy-makers, Advocacy Groups, NGOs, etc.) to support business, build reputation and improve access. 6. Build interactions with government affairs colleagues across Government Affairs and provide leadership and focus as appropriate. 7. Provide intelligence to the International Leadership team (and India Leadership Team) on Policy trends and activities to identify and support future growth opportunity 8. Drive Grant strategy, maintaining ethical and responsible standards and supporting reputation. 9. Promote and enhance the reputation in India - the business, brands and people through stakeholder engagement and participation and recognition as a trusted partner in Healthcare Policy Ideal candidate: Will have 10+yrs of experience in pharmaceutical, health care or FMCG segment driving Policy &amp; Advocacy Strategy.
