Head - Governance - Telecom Firm

As part of Global IT leadership team, responsible to create strong Governance framework and processes for the Engineering function. Would be responsible in navigating the multi partner environment and create and design strong processes and policies to ensure partner governance and partner engagement

Partner management

- Create Governance framework

Process Design and Governance -

- Review, Update and Design Service management policies and processes

Demand Management -

- Business relationship Management

- DM Planning & budgeting

- Business Case Assessment

- Demand criticality and Prioritization

Financial Management -

- IT Planning, budgeting

- Invoicing

- Pay-outs

- Deliver Engg OPEX as defined in the beginning of the year crores and deliver Critical transformational projects with no opex overun

Program Management -

SLA Mgt -

- SLA monitoring and Reporting

- Deliverables (Maximum 5-6 key responsibilities)

- Design Governance framework, polices and processes for Engg function

- Creation of strong partner governance frameworks

- Strong control on contracts and Mining of the contracts at periodic intervals to ensure that all the clauses are adhered to and proactively extending and negotiating the terms as and when required

- Partner transparency : get LOB wise system & application view and drive efficiency

- Audit Orchestration across engineering function and closure of observations

- Partner Diversity and encourage Multi-vendor scenario

- Delivery of Engg Opex

- Manage and run the Change Control Board

Educational Level

Must have:

- Degree in Engineering

Preferable:

- Degree in Business Administration

Working Experience

Must have:

- 17+ years of relevant experience in IT (IT/ITES/Telecom sector)

- Techno commercial role with high focus on technology front

- Understanding and exposure to the global business environment

- Strong analytical acumen

- Excellent documentation and presentation skills

- Deep technology understanding of IT/telecom systems.
