Head - Gold Loan Sales - FinTech (12-15 yrs)

- The opportunity is with a Series C funded payment and lending-related start up. This rapidly growing and extremely well-funded start-up is looking to grow the business leadership team and bring in a Sales Head - Gold Loans.

- The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing and roll out Gold Loan Product, managing the entire Gold Loan Product life cycle from strategic planning to tactical activities.

- Additionally, the individual will lead all the activities & initiatives related to Gold loan product management and maintenance pan India and also manage the design, features and benefits of Gold loan product, volume forecasting & market share.

Reports to the CRO.

Broad responsibilities of the role include:

1. Develop and implement strategies for setting up and scaling Gold Loans business pan India.

2. Develop the branch network from group up.

3. Develop appropriate team structure and scale up the business function teams in sales, credit, operations, collections and customer service functions.

4. Develop and implement annual business plan for Gold Loans in conjunction with all stakeholders.

5. Ensuring achievement of key business objectives of the annual business plan.

6. Develop top notch customer satisfaction centric processes and culture to enable customer retention, upsell and cross sell systems.

7. Work closely with technology team to implement and scale up innovative business solutions and products.

8. Complete responsibility of profit and loss of Gold Loans business.

The role entails spearheading the retail Gold Loans business of the company from ground up including developing branch network and with complete responsibility of P&L.


- Minimum 12 - 15 years of experience with relevant experience of Gold Loans business, ideally in a new age/digital gold loans business.

- Experience of leading large Gold Loans sales team. - Thorough knowledge of credit, operations, collections and customer service functions in Gold Loans.

- Passion to leverage technology in financial services to provide next-gen products and services

- Ability to deploy adequate manpower and drive sales performance

- Ability to engage with customers, cross-functional departments & Dealers / agencies.

- Plan & execute Marketing and Sales promotion Activities
