The company is looking for a senior supply chain professional to join the team as: Position: Head - Global Supply Chain Management Job Code: EXP/HEAD-GSCM/IN/0724 Location: Delhi/NCR Responsibilities The selected candidate will provide leadership to the Global Supply Chain Management function and will be responsible for effective capacity management by aligning demand planning and product scheduling and optimizing logistics and supply chain costs across the value chain from raw materials to finished goods. Specific responsibilities include : - Lead Strategic and Tactical planning: Demand, Capacity, Sourcing scenario over a 5-year and 2-year horizons to balance demand and capacity in order to generate top line revenue and bottom-line EBIT - Drive Global Standardization of Processes and lead the Supply Chain Centre of Excellence to make the company more globalized and efficient - Drive International Logistics within the Group to manage exports and imports between regions, manage priorities, track and improve performance - Provide leadership in the field of Supply Chain and Logistics to decrease costs and improve Regional and Inter-Regional business processes - Directly manage budgets Global Ocean Freight - Manage Raw Materials Logistics and bring in efficiencies in raw material supplies from different sources to company's manufacturing plants in Asia and Europe - Chair the internal bi-monthly meeting involving regional functional and business heads to facilitate and coordinate decisions related to Regional/Global Supply Chain - Lead a lean Global SCM Team and work closely with regional/country heads for capability development - Interact closely with cross-functional teams, and externally with large logistics companies and contract manufacturers. This is a senior leadership role leading a team of highly experienced supply chain professionals in different global locations. Requirements Ideal candidates will have: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, sciences or finance from a reputed university. - An MBA or a post graduate diploma with specialization in Supply Chain Management preferred. - At least 20 years of experience in Supply Chain Management in global corporations with complex product mix and distributed manufacturing locations. - Strong experience in manufacturing sector. Exposure to Automotive, Chemicals, Pharma, FMCG, Electronics/Appliances, and similar industries preferred - Deep understanding of global supply/demand management systems - Ability to lead and motivate teams across different geographies - Proven track record in managing change and transformation - Strong decision-making, influencing and negotiation skills - Strong communication & leadership skills; Culturally adaptable.
