Opening for Head HR for a leading conglomerate for Chennai location.
Position- Head HR (GM/VP Level)
Location: Chennai
The Ideal Candidate Job Specification:
- 2 years full time course degree from a good B School
- Good quantitative skills
- Good extracurricular record in school and college demonstrating leadership abilities
- Good influencing skills
- Good personality
- 20-25 years experience in HR with at least 5 years specific experience in Leading the Corporate HR function with a team of mature HR professionals as Direct reports
- Experience in running the HR function of large company/group level experience in a conglomerate.
- Experience preferably in Engineering/construction industry/or Industry where large number of people are employed
- Extensive Networking skills in the HR fraternity. A person of stature
- Well versed in implementing contemporary HR practices such as Performance Appraisals, Assessment Centres, Learning & Development, OD practice

2. Member of HR Council lead by Sr VP Corporate HR
3. Succession Planning
4. Performance management and productivity
5. Employee engagement
6. Design and Implementation of HR best practices with collaboration with Corporate HR and other HR heads
7. Managing of International Workforce
8. Workforce planning and productivity
9. Working on HR vision and strategy congruent to business needs
10. Working out strategic initiatives such as arranging tie ups with international institutions
11. Talent Acquisition
