Head/General Manager - Logistics - Electronic Video Surveillance Products & Solutions (7-15 yrs)

Location: Noida (Corporate Office)

Subordinates: Ware house Manager, Inventory Managers, Logistics Managers, Clearance Managers

Job Objective: Efficient, effective and cost effective handling of complete supply chain from Supplier till customer delivery.

Primary Responsibilities

- Direct, co-ordinate and oversee all functions involved in the supply chain, from forecasting to planning the shipment, import clearance, capacity planning of Warehouses to inventory management of the hubs

- Ensuring timely dispatches and tracking the dispatches till the last mile

- Inventory and Warehouse Management- Establishing of systems and processes to ensure TAT and other metrics with optimal cost

- Managing Inventory in all the Warehouses & Service Centers and ensuring integrity and accuracy of the stock management system

- Review inventory reports (quantity, type and value) of materials, and stock on hand on periodical basis

- Managing excess and ageing stock thru designing & implement inventory control procedures & stock rotation techniques.

- Conducting surprise checks/Spot checking and investigate shrinkages

- Participate and ensure integration of processes into ERP to ensure automation and remove redundancies and islands of knowledge including out of system MIS including excel sheets etc.

- Establish annual budgets and monitoring of the same on monthly and quarterly basis

- Establishing feedback mechanism of internal and external customers and tweaking supplier's / service providers basis the feedback mechanism

- Establishment of SOP (Standard Operating Procedures) and policies

- Ability to work with cross functional teams

- Recruit, develop, train and mentor teams under

- Monitor and review service providers on quarterly basis

- Networking with industry peers to keep abreast of latest industry practices and developments.

- Lead negotiation efforts with service providers

- Ensure regulatory and statutory compliances

Knowledge and Skills Required :

- Degree in supply chain management with minimum 7 years of experience

- Proficient in Standard Logistics software

- Be well versed in all aspects of supply chain including warehousing, import, inventory management

- Prior experience of working in large volume sectors like distribution, FMCG etc

- Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills

- Experience in negotiations and International Supply change management

- Leadership competency with ability to work in high pressure multi-task environment

- Good verbal and written communication skills
