PfA Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Centre, Bengaluru, is a non-profit animal welfare organization, founded in 1996. The centre rescues treat and rehabilitate urban wild animals, to ultimately release them back into their natural habitats. These urban wild animals, found in and around the city, are injured, displaced, or orphaned due to various causes. The centre is open 24x7, year-round.

About the Job:

- Strategic responsibility for fundraising, Target is an additional 1 crore a year for program and corpus. Plus maintaining and enhancing existing fundraising already happening. This could be from HNI's /Companies/CSR.

- Partnership development and maintaining strong relationships with our wide range of individual funders.

- To work closely with the trustees, GM, and build overall strategy and direction of the various program initiatives of PFA and build upon the income streams for PFA possible for each programmatic aspect;

- To build a small fundraising team of not more than 3 people and manage the fundraising operations including working closely with the PFA Trustees to help in prioritization, managing workflows, and ensuring effective stewardship of donors, corporate supporters, and trust and foundations grants and HNI's.

- Responsible for: Fundraising strategy, partnership development, and relationship building. Managing the Fundraising team.

About The Role:

- The role is flexible and will be mostly from home. There will be regular online meetings with the trustees.

- We are looking for a Head of Fundraising and Partnerships to work closely with the GM and report to the Trustees. The successful candidate will sit on the Senior Management Team, working closely Head of Operations, Head of Programmes, and Head of Marketing & Communications.

- You will have substantial, proven experience of working in fundraising and of developing and sustaining partnerships, ideally in the third sector, and of how to build financial sustainability into a fast-growing organization. You will be a highly organized people person and will be responsible for line managing the Fundraising Manager.

- You will bring excellent communication skills and the ability to inspire others about our work. With outstanding interpersonal skills, you will have the ability to forge new relationships and you will thrive on enhancing our current partnerships, and identifying and creating new ones.

Finally, you will be truly passionate about the work that we do:

Line Management:

- To have direct line management responsibility for the small Fundraising team;

- To create an environment where the team feels fully supported and enabled to grow and develop under your management;

- To work with the existing team PFA and be supportive of the work and build on the same by ensuring more resources.

- To work on weekly monthly targets. Will include weekly reporting. Every three months there will be stocktaking of expectations met/unmet.

BENEFITS:

Salary - per annum? /this will include a percentage of the money raised, we need to discuss this

Hours - 35 per week, Weekly updates, and has to work on targets
